Dedicated to the memory of Engineer Pastor Foluso

This site is a tribute to Engineer Pastor Folu, who was born on April 28, 1953. He is much loved and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Pastor and Engineer.

A selfless, patient, gentle and kind man who would often go above and beyond to help those in need, sometimes even at the detriment of himself.

A deep thinker who was always quick to listen but slow to speak, although when he did he was full of amazing advice and guidance.

He will be thoroughly missed and will always be remembered.

We would love to hear your own eulogies of Engineer Pastor Folu Olusanya

Thoughts

Today, as we say goodbye to Pastor Foluso Olusanya, it is my honour to write this tribute in his memory, although I wish I was speaking at his retirement or septuagenarian party instead of his funeral. Pastor Olusanya, though you’re no longer here with us physically, it is something well beyond the power of our will and we are immensely grateful to God for the 67 years your family had you and for the 12 years memories the Redemption Parish, Leyton family shared with you. We still remember your counsel to us about parking at Redemption Parish. We also remember your fellowship with us when you visited UK on holidays. We remember the ties you have with RCCG Redemption Parish family, your wife (Pastor Elizabeth) being a regular of the Parish between 2010- 2012. For those of us who love you and ache with your passing, we pray for comfort now and always. May you find rest in the bosom of the Almighty God. Pastor Olusanya, adieu. Thank you ma. Daddy Folu Olusanya was gentle and simple. I have known him as far back as late 90s when I was working in New Life Community Bank, while he was working on Camp Projects. Am sure he didn't know that. I came close to both of you when we were promoted as Area Pastors and started holding meetings together. He was always calling my husband my name sake. His demise was very painful to us😳 but God knows best. He was such an amiable person. Thank God, he died as a General of the Lord. Mummy, the good lord will continue to uphold, comfort and strengthen you and the entire family. It is well with you ma. Love you always. 😘 Pastor Mrs Dacosta

He will definitely live in our hearts forever. The whole episode still seem like a dream to me, especially for the fact that I saw him few days to his departure to England and he gave me an assignment that still remains inchoate. I never knew that my dear egbon only came to bid me farewell to this sinful world. The whole thing look so strange and unbelievable. We have lost a gem! My egbon was a quintessence of peace and gentility.A man endowed with uncommon intelligence and undying spirit and willingness to assist others in terms of quality and invaluable advice. I am already missing his smiles and laughter. There was never a dull moment with my egbon anytime we were together. How I wish his death was deferred by Baba God, but when it is time for the sun to set, it will set. Egbon is no longer with us in this realm but his legacy lives on. Those of us that that were lucky to cross his path cannot forget him. He was simply a good man. May Almighty God continue to guide and protect you and the children. May God grant you long life to enjoy the fruit of your labour on your children. We remain grateful to God that egbon lived a worthy and fulfilled life. It isn't how long but how well. It is our prayer that Akin, Shayo, Segun(big belly) and Ope(Obe) shall live a more fulfilled life and shall be great shining stars of Olusanya family. It shall be well with you, my dear sister. Please grief no more, you have played your path very well. You loved him so much and you struggled so much to keep him alive but his creator, his owner, decided to withdraw him from us. That judgement is not appealable, so why should anyone of us be inconsolable? The Lord is with you. He shall never withdraw his umbrella of protection from you in Jesus name. My dear sister, please take heart. Barrister Abiodun Ogundeji
