Engr. Olusanya’s transition to eternal glory at such a relatively young age only affirms the belief that good people tend to lay their sword down early. Since our paths first crossed in 1987 at Edison Group and Partners, Lagos Nigeria, he remained my Teacher, Egbon, Boss, Mentor, Friend, Benefactor and Adviser all rolled in one. At a time he was trying to persuade me to join his firm with little success, he still went ahead to introduce me to another company thereby denying himself my services that he needed so much. Till his death, I was his unofficial partner. In Engr(Pastor) Folu Olusanya’s death, the world lost a very distinguished engineer, a prolific teacher, a gentleman per excellence, a devoted husband of his beloved wife, a caring and doting father and a quintessential human being. Of course, those he was also a great Pastor as attested to by those he pastored. I do not use these words lightly. He lived them. May the Lord grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen
