I met Engr Folu Olusanya, fondly called Folu by his friends some 35yrs ago. He was living at Obanikoro while my husb and & I lived at Olusosun, behind Philips at Ojota. I saw him as a very accommodating person. He didn't talk much compared to other friends of my husband that I met when I moved to Lagos to join my husband when we got married. He was a lover of God even when he was in the white garment church. Even when we were in Prime Club together, he wouldn't do anything ungodly. He was a burden bearer who would counsel when another person is having challenges. He was there with us in thick & thin, very supportive in our waiting years for the fruit of the womb. When my first.fruit was to go to secondary school he ensured I had a tourof the school of our choice before taking her to the boarding house. He was very accommodating to the extent that his house in the Redemption camp was always available for me & my friend during the Redeemer's day program every year throughout my children's secondary school years. I remember seeing many matresses in the house indicating the no of people welcomed in the house during programs in the camp. He was very hard-working and kind and I heard a lot of testimonies of his good deeds each time I was in the camp from people who worked with him. He was a good husband & family man who maintained the homefront when his wife was out of the country. He will forever be fondly missed. I pray that the Holy Spirit who's our comforter will grant his wifethe fortitude to bear this loss, because they were "five & six". Always together, the Aquilla and Priscilla of our time. I also pray that his children will be empowered to build on thier father's legacy. May his soul continue to rest in the Lord's bossom until the resurrection morning. Farewell, my husband's good friend and partner.
