Hmmmm….Daddy, it’s definitely going to take a while before I become accustomed to the reality that you have indeed gone to be with the angels. Daddy you were just too precious to go like that. In my transient thinking, I just cannot visualize the possibility of the Body of Christ and humanity in general not having you at a time like this. It didn’t seem possible at all. You were kind, caring and extremely compassionate. Daddy, you were much more than a landlord to me. You were my mentor…and a down to earth one for that matter. I remember on one occasion during a particular dark moment of my life that you got to hear I was going to sell one of my cars to settle a matured rent. You simply called and warned me not to ever do that or even think of doing that again…that you didn’t build your house to make people become less than they aspire. Subsequent moments that we had to sit and talk became opportunities for you to tutor me a bit about life and encourage me like no one had ever done. Daddy, true to your reassurances, which sounded more like prophetic declarations (in addition to several night vigils with you and mummy), tides have indeed turned to the glory of God. You were also an astute business man…a man of incredible attention to detail; very meticulous and a strong believer in the huge potentials of this great Nation. A couple of proposals we have reviewed and explored together opened my eyes to all these and left notable and indelible footprints in my life. You were indeed a very great man Daddy! You will really be missed Sir. My prayer is that the Lord will pour abundant grace upon the entire family and most especially mummy and endue her with unusual strength from above to bear this irreplaceable loss. The days ahead will be tough but I trust the Lord to pull us all through gallantly. Rest well daddy! The angels indeed gained one! It is well! ----Prince Aderemi and Olufunmi Adejobi
