TRIBUTE TO PASTOR FOLU OLUSANYA. The death of my friend and brother Pastor Eng) Folu Olusanya is a painful, slow and tragic death which shattered me and left me in stitches. I first met Pastor Folu Olusanya at the Engineering Dept. as we then called, of the RCCG over two decades ago. We became so closed when the department was divided to several Departments . He was chosen as the Head of Department Electrical. When I was appointed as the Special Assistant to G.O. (Technical) he worked so closely with us to bring 24hour light to Redemption Camp as the head electrical. He was instrumental to the stable power supply both generation and distribution in the RCCG Camp ground. After several years of been in charge of the department the mission then decided to constitute a Technical Advisory board and change H. O. D to directors. Pastor Folu was appointed director PPDC . ( Physical Planning and Development Control). The position he held till death in RCCG Camp ground. Pastor Folu Olusanya was committed and willing to sacrifice his time and everything for the kingdom. I remember how we struggled and without sleep to make sure light was constant in the camp during program with little resources and few Generator to power. The role of pastors can always be filled, but the relationships we had enjoyed together can’t be replaced. But we take solace in the word of God in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 KJV. (13] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. Pastor Folu you left a good legacy of service, faithfulness, sacrifice and commitment, the RCCG will never forget your labor of love. The entire Electrical department will always remember your sacrifices. The measure of a life is not in its duration but in donation. I pray for those of us you left behind will continue with the good work and we all meet at the feet of the Master our Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Sunday Akande SATGO (Technical)
