Timothy 8th March 2021

I knew of the medical vacation and protracted indisposition of my landlord, Engineer Pastor Foluso Olusanya. I was personally shocked on reading the message from his son, Akin, confirming his passage. Because this sad outcome was hardly imaginable. I am the newest tenant at his 14, Morgan Avenue property. I had resided here for over a year before I got the opportunity of seeing him eyeball to eyeball. Though I didn't know he was the man who gave the closing prayer after one of the monthly meetings of landlords and tenants. I later got to introduce myself to him the day we met coincidentally while he was going to assess the list of reported defects for maintenance in the section I occupy in his property. He immediately approved and ordered the replacements and fixing of the defects. To my surprise he later returned, unlike most landlords I know, to ensure the work was well-done. My subsequent interactions with him revealed him as someone who cared about his fellow humans. A God-fearing man he was. As a multidisciplinary professional and engineer of vast experience, I am privileged to rightly adjudge him a brilliant gentleman and an accomplished engineer and professional. He was so thorough, professional, meticulous and detailed in his considerations and decisions. In one conversation with him, he sincerely testified the blessings and grace of God upon his life and family. He practiced Christianity with humility and contentment. May our good Lord grant his family the much needed divine consolation to bear this painful loss and the strength and wisdom to carry on. Until we meet again on the ressurection day, Engineer Olusanya, may your soul find rest in the bosom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Engr. Timothy Iwuagwu FISPN
