Tribute to My Pastor and My Daddy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. - Matthew 5:8. We have struggled so hard to put words together to describe the memories of you that lives with us because it has been such a very difficult task coming to terms with the fact that the ultimate night you taught us has truly come for you! We testify that you had a very pure heart; you have seen God and you are with HIM now. You fought the good fight of faith. You lived a very good life that impacted us in too many ways. You worked conscientiously for the Lord. You finished your course. You won the race and now you have gone to be rewarded by HIM... You were a very loving daddy to us; a moving Bible for us to read; never too tired to teach us; ever ready to pray about everything and anything. We can never forget those unique programs you introduced in Lifegate as the Pastor in charge of Area. The Solemn Assembly (the program the Lord used to settle us maritally), Load Your Cloud Vigil (where you spend quality time exposing the scriptures to us no matter how busy your day had been) and the Departmental prayer meetings/Vigils you encouraged. You were determined to see us all spiritually lifted and revived. You loved the Lord and taught us to do the same. You served the Lord without reservation and you taught us to do the same. You gave your all and taught us to do the same. You laid down your earthly crowns at the feet of Jesus and taught us to do the same. You were so kind hearted, gentle, peaceful and loving and you taught us to do the same. You were not one to give to offence and taught us the same. You were ever ready to listen, counsel, pray and help in every way possible. Too many instances that we cannot begin to put here. Serving the Lord under you daddy, was a rare privilege we never took for granted because you were a very rare gem with uncommon Grace. We will miss you dearly daddy! We are missing you greatly already but we have resolved to take solace in the fact that we know you are with Jesus and we will see you on resurrection morning. We pray the Lord strengthen mummy, help her, abide with her always in Jesus name. We also trust the Lord to strengthen the hearts of all of us your children, both biological and spiritual and give us the grace and fortitude to carry on in Jesus name. Goodnight and Farewell daddy Folu Olusanya. The GARUBAS.
