My friend, my coach, and my Bishop. My husband was such a wonderful man. I am not sure I can really express just how much I will miss him. Not only was he a wonderful husband, he was the best father, grandfather, and my best friend. It was very hard to let you go and you will live within my heart forever. When I first met you over 40years ago I remembered being overwhelmed by a desire to become a part of your world. You were so full of life, exciting, fun and interesting and you remained so until the day you slept. I am very grateful for the exceptional and special memories we shared together. You were an amazing, courageous, inspiring, intelligent, patient and loving husband. You gave me confidence and strength. You were my best friend and prayer partner. We talked about anything and everything with each other. We prayed, praised, and laughed together. We had beautiful plans together for our retirement period but I believe you have been taken away from the evil to come. Isaiah 57:1b. The 40years I spent with you as husband and wife were the best years of my life and I am happy and honoured to have been your wife. I am grateful to God that I had the opportunity to share your dreams and hopes. You were not just my husband, you were my coach, my friend, my brother, my adviser, and my Bishop. You were an exemplary example of a husband who was spiritually strong and compassionate with a clever sense of humour. Foluso you have left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, father, grandfather. You loved unconditionally and you believed in sharing and caring for the people around you. I will miss your assuring and positive advice. Foluso you lived well and lived your life in Christ Jesus. You tried in your own unassuming and sincere way to spread joy in whatever form you could through the word of God, your kind words, financial assistance, godly counsel and your lovely smile. Folu, you have left a legacy of love and integrity with the family and those who knew you. You followed peace with all men and you tried to bring out the best out of everyone you come in contact with. You are a dogged and passionate lover of God. You have served God with sincererity of heart and everything in you. You served God with all your engineering skills without holding back, including doing God’s work according to HIS dictates. You were upright in your engineering profession - a big fish in the profession If God chooses not to answer the healing prayers for Folu, HE will still be God and I will continue to love HIM till my last breath. Job 13:15 The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 I cannot question why God decides to take you away.
