A tribute to a great father not just to a dearest friend Sayo but to many other people. I’m trying to process this really sad news of your passing and it is super hard.  I got the privilege of meeting you, daddy Olusanya (through my friend Sayo) in 2004, during our uni days. Initially, I was skeptical about following Sayo to their camp home, but looking back I’m glad I did. hmm, I think it’s going to be pretty difficult for me to describe you in the past tense, because though I was technically just a friend to Sayo, (although, we did things like sisters at some point ) and haven’t seen you in years - the ones I spent around you left a pleasant lasting memory.. Seeing how you related with Sayo, her siblings, cousins, Mummy Olusanya, relatives, your friends, and even we just friends was amazing- there was always something to laugh about. There were always great jokes, and hearty waves of laughter any time you were around, and just watching how Sayo bonded with you was pure joy. You are such a great lover of God and humanity - kind, generous and humorous about it all.At a point, being a really young Christian, you were the Bible I read howbeit it just once a month - for instance, during the RCCG camp events - You and mummy made everyone feel welcome to stay at yours and ensured they were taken care of.This act of kindness meant that through you so many people were able to improve their relationship with Lord. I pray the good Lord will remember this labour of love. One of my fond recollection were the times Sayo, our other friends and I come to you with a grocery list in preparation for the camp events- you always knew the right things to say and delivered them in a funny way. Even after Sayo and my other friends relocated  and I continued to manage those things for a few years, it was very easy for me to relate with you - thank you, sir. Those few years I spent around the family showed you were genuinely caring and loving not just to Sayo but to everyone.  I remember that even when you noticed Sayo and I were actually growing apart just from life happening, you actually called me to see if you could resolve whatever the issue was- this act tells a lot about you, sir. I pray the good Lord will comfort mummy, Akin, Sayo, Segun, Ope, their spouses, children, and the rest of the family. Remi O
